In November, we brought you the first round of some bathroom hacks we think come in pretty handy. Now we present round two.
For starters, we know what you’re wondering… and no. We are absolutely not suggesting you should just give up on having a clean, organized bathroom and drown your frustrations in wine. That’s actually the first great hack we wanted to share.
Rack ‘em up
A wine rack makes a tidy, classy, space-conscious storage system for towels and washcloths. And if you’re in a real pinch for counter space, look for a wall-mounted hanging rack.
Tension can be a good thing
Nobody wants to deal with extra tension in their life… unless it’s secretly making life easier. A hidden tension rod under the sink is a handy hack for organizing cleaning products.
Or put a second rod in plain sight, right in the bathtub! With the right accessories, it’s as pleasant to look at as it is useful.
Spice things up
Usually, we associate spice racks with kitchen storage. (Or for those of us too busy to cook much, with grandma’s kitchen.)
But because they’re relatively shallow shelves, often with a bar across the front to stop things slipping off, they’re perfect for the little things that clutter up bathroom sinks and counters.
And our favorite bathroom hack (for this round, anyway) is more about personal enjoyment than storage or cleaning. But, hey… what’s life without a little fun, right?
NO!!! Not like that!
Put your phone in a plastic zip bag, and put it in a DRY sink. Why? Because the acoustics from the shape and material of the sink turn it into a giant speaker/amplifier! Now when you sing in the shower, you’ll feel like you’re performing a concert. Except, you know, for the thousands of people staring at you and screaming your name. Not something we want in the shower. (Of course, maybe you’re into that sort of thing…)
So what do you think? Got a favorite bathroom hack you’d like to share? Or would you just like to sing our praises (see what we did there?) for sharing the sink/speaker hack? Let us know in the comments!
And stay tuned for round three.
